To spearhead the future planning for Eagan's parks, recreation and open space,
a large group of community volunteers representing a wide range and diversity
of interests was formed. This Stakeholder Group with the aid of a consultant
hired by the City Council has been meeting since November to begin to
formulate priorities and to imagine what Eagan's needs might be by the year 2020.
The Advisory Parks and Recreation Commission has opened a 45-day
public comment period on its 20/20 Vision for Parks, Recreation and Open Space.
Input from the public will be taken through September 1, 2005 and can be made via:

Drop comments in the Drop Box located on the south circular driveway near the City Hall main entrance
Drop comments off at the front counter at Eagan City Hall or Eagan Community Center.
